The Meltdown Continues

Previously, in the Microsoft/Activision-Blizzard merger drama - we covered how Sony made a pretty weak points in its against the merger.  From redefining the Switch out of the console gaming space to misrepresenting Switch userbase demographics, Sony was prepared to make any obtuse claim in an effort to convince regulators that Microsoft would not honor the 10-year multiplatform deal.

Well, Sony is at is again with this to say to the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority:

Sony is claiming that Microsoft will produce a buggy and inferior CoD game for Sony’s systems.  Sony is looking really desperate here - expecting to block mergers based on hypotheticals.  And if that wasn’t enough, here’s what Jim Ryan had to say based on the report by an Activision-Blizzard exec:

This comment was made on February 21st, according to Meservey.

Ryan’s honesty is appreciated.  It makes sense for Sony to put up a fight to block the merger.  It’s arguments to that point have been comical in their disingenuousness however.
