Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Sales Revisited - Week 2

Last week, I expected Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to have the typical JRPG drop. It had a 91% drop WoW, in line with Final Fantasy XVI’s 89% drop after launch week.

It’s really concerning that Square has not released any PR for the title, suggesting they may not be happy with sales - but we’ll see. The game didn’t have a lingering effect on PS5 hardware either…

It’s unclear what went wrong here. Is this a Final Fantasy issue or a PlayStation issue?
